As a software developer, he has delivered web and business applications for diversified industries, including telecommunications, food processing, wholesale/retail, and manufacturing. He has also led software development teams.
As a product manager, he has formulated new product plans and evolution strategies for a broad range of network hardware and software products.
Chung earned his MBA from University of Toronto, Master of Science (Electrical Engineering) from Northeastern University and Bachelor of Science (Electrical Engineering) from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
With a keen interest in education and training, he pursued an Adult Education Certificate (Teaching of Adults) at Sheridan Institute of Advanced Learning & Technology, and graduated with a Sheridan Scholar honour. He has taught computer operating systems and data communications courses at the same school, and performed qualitative and quantitative data analysis for educational research projects.
Chung is particularly interested in the use of educational technologies to enhance learning.
